It will also increase their confidence.  Aspirants must fix the time period as given in the examination and try their best to do all questions within it.

4.        Focus on NCERT books:
As NEET syllabus is mainly based on NCERT course- books for Class 11 and 12 for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, aspirants are required to go through them thoroughly. They must not depend on the competitive books available in the market for the examination. So, all NEET aspirants must go through NCERT course books for class 11th and 12th in the first place.

This quotation amply clarifies how to treat any sort of examination in life to be successful. If you love examination, you are bound to prepare for it with all attributes at your disposal. When heart and mind co-ordinate together for the task at hand, it is tackled successfully. NEET examination is only 11 days away. How do NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER Syllabuses and Exam Patterns Differ with Each Other?

NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER are three most prestigious medical entrance examinations. Every medical student dreams of qualifying these exams to pursue education in the top college of the country. Fundamentally, there is no difference in the syllabus and exam pattern of NEET, AIIMS and JIMPER. NEET is very balanced in which speed, concept and presence of mind is tested while AIIMS Entrance Exam tests concept and understanding. The problems are lengthy and difficult in AIIMS exam. JIMPER requires the aspirants to be quicker than NEET and AIIMS.

No, there is no fundamental difference amongst the three. The syllabus of NEET and AIIMS is almost similar. The difference between the two is that AIIMS has two additional sections- General Knowledge (GK) (questions mostly from current affairs) and aptitude. Assertion - Reason questions will also be asked in AIIMS entrance exam.
Physics, Chemistry and Biology syllabus of JIMPER is same as that of AIIMS and NEET. JIMPER exam has only two extra sections- English and Reasoning.

Difference in Exam Pattern of NEET, AIIMS and JIMPER
NEET is conducted in pen and paper mode while AIIMS and JIPMER are online exams (CBT). Here, we are presenting the exam pattern of NEET, AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS one by one.

Duration: 3 hours
Sections: Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany and Zoology)
Total No. Of Questions: 180 Objective type questions
45 questions from Physics
45 questions from Chemistry
90 questions from Biology (Botany, Zoology)
Each question carries 4 marks for every correct answer. There is also negative marking, deducting 1 mark for every wrong answer.

AIIMS MBBS entrance examination is of 3½ hours duration and will have one paper consisting of 200 objective type (multiple choice and reason-assertion type) questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Knowledge and Aptitude.
The distribution of questions is:
Physics: 60
Chemistry: 60
Biology (Botany and Zoology): 60
General Knowledge: 10
Aptitude & Logical Thinking: 10
Total Questions: 200
Every wrong response will get a score of -1/3 (minus-one-third).

The pattern of JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination is :
Exam duration: 2.5 hrs.
Physics: 60 Questions,
Chemistry: 60 Questions,
Biology: 60 Questions,
Logic and Quantitative Reasoning: 10 Questions &
English and Comprehension: 10 Questions.
Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Can a medical aspirant prepare for NEET, AIIMS and JIMPER Entrance Exam at a time?
Yes, they can easily do it as the syllabus of all the three examinations are almost the same. The only minor difference is that AIIMS Entrance Exam has two additional sections- GK and Aptitude and so has JIMPER - English and Reasoning. The major portion of Physics, Chemistry and Biology syllabus is the same.

It is necessary for NEET, AIIMS and JIMPER aspirants to work hard for the preparation of three main subjects- Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Hard labour has no substitute. For addition sections of GK and Aptitude in AIIMS and English and Reasoning in JIMPER exams, they have to put in additional effort into their preparations. The time factor is very important in JIMPER. So, they have to do the constant practice without any break. As NEET and AIIMS both require thorough knowledge and NCERT covers their syllabus, the aspirants must go through NCERT books thoroughly and after that they should also consult mentors/teachers, coach and guides for additional knowledge on the subject.

For GK in AIIMS, focus on current affairs. Medical aspirants can utilize their time after NEET by preparing additional sections in AIIMS and JIPMER. At the same time, they are required to be focused on the revision of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Time management is very important in JIPMER. You have to adjust your time according to the requirement while answering the questions. You need to solve 200 questions in only 150 mins, i.e. 2.5 hrs.
The student is required to be proficient in English and good at Reasoning for JIMPER exam. As English is tough, it is advisable for the students to go through the leading English national dailies to brush up their knowledge in the language. For Reasoning, it is necessary for them to exercise their brain by practicing previous years’ questions well before the exam.

As far as the number of Medical seats is concerned, NEET is far ahead of AIIMS and JIMPER. NEET has 66000 medical seats and the number of aspirants is 13 lakh 36 thousand. So, the competition gets tougher. Every medical aspirant targets NEET.

The number of seats in all AIIMS combined is 700 for Indian students. There are 7 seats for Foreign Nationals in AIIMS Delhi. The selection ratio in AIIMS MBBS makes the exam more challenging for medical aspirants.

JIPMER has least number of seats in comparison to AIIMS and NEET. It has around 200 in two JIPMER campus.  So, it is advisable for the medical aspirants not to be focused on JIMPER only. They must prepare for NEET also to fulfill their dreams of becoming doctors.

But all of them are prestigious and tough medical entrance examinations. Among these three, AIIMS entrance test is of the highest quality and requires intelligence of the highest order on the part of students who appear at it. NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER may be looking tough, but nothing is impossible to achieve if you have guts, determination and will power. You may feel that the time of 15 days is too little to prepare for the examinations of NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER standards, but you are required not to waste any more time on the superfluous matter.

A bit difference in syllabus
NEET, AIIMS, and JIPMER patterns are well- known, but problematic area is the syllabus for those who are appearing for AIIMS and JIPMER. Like NEET, AIMMS and JIPMER have no prescribed specific syllabus. Candidates preparing for AIIMS MBBS can take a look at the NEET syllabus.

Phenomenal Rise in NEET Registrations This Year

As per CBSE information, the number of students who have registered for NEET examination this year is 13.36 lakh, which is more than the last year by 2 lakhs. The increasing number of students registering with NEET every year is making the examination also tougher.
The NEET was introduced for the first time in 2013 but it was scrapped in 2014 itself. Again in 2016, it was re-introduced on the order of Supreme Court and most of the states opted for it, which has also contributed to the rise in a registration of students with NEET 2018. Govt. makes various schemes and policies for awarding scholarship which has also resulted in the more number of students passing out class 12 examinations.

In the given situation, the admission of students to medical and dental is set to be tough. According to figures revealed by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), over 13.36 lakh hopefuls have registered for NEET 2018, up from 11.5 lakh who had registered in 2017. The total number of seats in MBBS and BDS institutes across the country stands at 60,000.

One of the reasons behind increasing number of students opting for NEET is its all India character. Experts say that there are a number of reasons behind this rise in registrations. Students from across the country have realized that NEET is more important than state conducted CETs, therefore more and more have been opting for the national level examinations. It is sad that a number of medical seats is very low on one hand and the number of student increases year by year on the other.

Here are some tips and tricks to score maximum in the examination.

Well-Made Notes
Well-prepared notes are very beneficial for the students at the last leg of their preparation. Assembling every important topic from three subjects of the syllabus at a place is very convenient for the students to make a cursory glimpse of all one or two days before the examination. Going through text books at the last leg of the preparation means nothing but failure. Assembling all things that you have studied in 11th and 12th in well-prepared notes in a short and compact form will be very helpful

Sample Papers
To go through sample papers with examination coming nearer to assess your preparation in which you have put a year of   hard work to crack the examination is necessary. At least the question paper of the last five years must be practiced by the NEET aspirants. Even toppers also suggest practicing sample papers to understand the question pattern of the examination very well. Sample papers make students aware of the exam pattern in advance.

Mock Test
It is very beneficial for the candidates to check their speed and accuracy before the final exam. To do this, they have to go through different mock tests. Mock test also enables the candidates to be in touch with different sets of questions. They have also to make sure the practice on OMR sheets as many students spend too much time in filling it during the exams. This will benefit you.

Keeping in mind the past year trend, Physics paper can be the trickiest of all. Give at least an hour on working out various equations, and try to solve as many equations as possible.

Health
These-days different health tips are available online, do not follow it strictly. Take advice of your parents or family doctor. Most candidates feel anxiety before the exams as well. It is natural and the best way to beat the stress is to keep giving yourself small breaks. Do not surround yourself with books all over the day. Either go for a walk or play some game. Music is also considered therapeutic.
NEET 2018: Never commit these mistakes

Don’t ignore time-table
Make a time-table chart and follow it strictly. Sticking to time-table will help the candidate complete and revise his or her syllabus quickly and do away with last minute panic and anxiety.
NEET Syllabus based on NCERT

You are advised to base your preparation on NCERT books and never depend on study materials available in the market. You cannot solve all the NEET questions depending on study material. NCERT provides basic concepts and the solved questions for the majority of the questions for NEET.

Don’t Ignore Subjects
All subjects must be paid equal attention. You must balance your preparation by giving more time to weak subject, but never ignore other subjects.

Error Calculation

It is the wastage of time on mistakes you have already committed because it will lead to waste of time and you can lose your confidence. It is better for you to practice more and more mock test, which will boost your confidence and ultimately prove to beneficial at the examination.
