Most of the competitive entrance exams for admission to engineering, medical and management colleges are held between April and June every year. So, these two months are precious and crucial for the students aspiring to get through these exams according to their stream. All students of 10+2 standard are vying for admissions to engineering, medical and management colleges. But only the nominal percentage of students scores high to be up in ranking for the eligibility of admission. Engineering, Medical and Management entrance tests are very tough. It is correctly said that time and tides wait for none. So, it is the most precious time for students. They must always keep their attention fixed in preparation for the coming examinations.
Keep physically fit, mentally sound and positive
The first priority of the students during examination time should be to keep themselves fit and fine. As hard labour is required on their part in studying the subject thoroughly, they must take light and nutritious diet and to keep their concentration high. They must practice Yoga every day. Sound mind only resides in sound health. So to perform well in the examination, they must keep themselves fit and fine. They should take fruit and green vegetables in large quantity. With a positive frame of mind, they are bound to do well at the examination.
Competitive exams demand a thorough knowledge
Mugging up everything cannot serve the examination purposes as questions are objective types, which demands thorough study and clear concept of the subject. The important thing is that how clearly and thoroughly the students of these entrance examinations understand the subject.
Labour never goes in vain
It must be clearly understood that there is no substitute for hard labour, but at the same, it is equally important to know that how it is put to use. It has been experienced that studying for long hours in a stretch daily has not yielded a good result. Long hours of study in a stretch make it boring, uninteresting, dull and drab. So, while preparing for the entrance examinations, students must take a break after one and half hours of study to take stock of their understanding of the topic which they have just read. This will have a lingering impact on the minds of the students about the subject. They are required to keep repeating this habit. If they do it, they are bound to get success in the competitive examinations for admissions to engineering or medical or management examinations.
Clear conception and deep understanding
As far as memorizing the subject by the students is concerned, it is good as long as they retain the memory, but there is always a possibility of forgetting it also. So, it is required on the part of the students that whatever they have read and got by heart, they must also understand its concept clearly and deeply. Only then, they will be able to give correct answers to the questions that are generally asked in NEET, IIT JEE, AIPMT, AIEEE etc. Examination questions asked in these examinations are not only tough and difficult but also tricky and smart. The questions of these examinations are set not only to test how deep knowledge the students have of the subject but also their mental make-up, temperament, action, attitude, and approach.
