Barely two days are left to go to the NEET Examination 2018. It is natural for the aspirants to be stressed how to do well at it. So, it is necessary for them to know in advance what to do and what not to do before the examination. We are describing Dos and Don'ts here point by point for the benefit of the students.
Dos
Trust Yourself:
It is necessary for the NEET aspirants to have complete trust in them. They must always be positive that they have put in hard labour into their preparation so they must do well at the examination. They never underestimate their talent, intelligence and power of understanding. They must keep always in their mind a maxim attributed to Oliver Cromwell - "Trust in God and keep your powder dry!" They must enter the examination hall with the belief that they have studied thoroughly, sincerely and seriously so the success will certainly come to them.
Follow 6R’s Strategy:
6R’s strategy stands for Reading, Remember, Revision, Reassessment, Review, and Result. This is the most suitable way to crack NEET 2018.
Make a Diary of Formula and Important Concept:
Making a diary of important formula and concept helps the candidates in their last minute revision. It increases the understanding of the subject.
Keep the Basics Balanced:
It is necessary for the candidates to pay equal attention to all the subjects of the NEET syllabus in the beginning itself. But with examination time coming closer, they must rely on notes from the NCERT books and go through them again and again before the examination. As all subjects carry equal marks, so it is required to keep the basics of study balanced.
Do Mental and Physical Exercises Daily:
It keeps the candidates fit and fine both mentally and physically. It also keeps exam stress away. Meditation and Yoga also help in keeping the mind fresh to grasp the topics of the subject very well. It also increases concentration power of NEET aspirants.
Sound Sleep is Necessary:
It is necessary for the NEET aspirants to have sound sleep to keep their mind fresh and alert. It will also increase the efficiency level of the NEET aspirants.
Don'ts
Never Lose Confidence:
Confidence plays an important role in getting success in any examination. So, always be confident and positive of the outcome. Losing confidence makes you nervous and once you become nervous, you forget everything you have studied during the preparation of the examination.
Keep off Procrastination:
The habit of procrastination is very bad. Those who have the habit of procrastination always extend the work to be done by them. And ultimately, it remained unfinished throughout the life. So, what you would do tomorrow, you do it today and what you would do today you do just now. Only then success will come to you.
Don't Adopt Short Cut Route:
As there is no short cut way to success, you are advised not to adopt any short cut method of study. Short cut method shortens your vision and horizon of understanding. So never go through shortcut route.
